Horns of Abundance Soap - Handmade in Historic Nauvoo, Illinois
I am originally from France and from now on living in the beautiful little historic town of Nauvoo. I have been crafting soap with goat milk and other natural ingredients since 2011.
Today, I offer that you discover the marvelous and exquisite goat milk soap of Nauvoo called "Horns of Abundance ".
This soap not only cleans, it nourishes your skin.
It has unparalleled softness, is naturally rich in glycerin, enriched with nutrients from beehives and with plant oils - the unctuous and creamy lather from the soap makes your skin hydrated and soft. The fat molecules in the goat milk are exceptionally thin and so easily absorbed by the skin.
"Horns of Abundance" goat milk and honey soap is currently available at the boutique Children's Workshop of Nauvoo on Mulholland in Nauvoo, Illinois. You are welcome to come visit! At this cozy place, you can also make your own souvenir like a bee's wax candle, pottery, and much more...Also available at the Farmers Market on Monday from 4pm to 6pm at the Depot in Fort Madison and on Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm in Montrose Riverside Landing.
Basics Ingredients of the soap: Goat milk, honey, sweet almond oil, olive oil, oatmeal, vitamin E, and other natural ingredients.
I like to share this pioneer story of Nauvoo with my visitors like you!...
Byram Lee Bybee and Betsy Lane Bybee joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Indiana and moved to Nauvoo, Illinois in 1842. They were living two or three miles south of Nauvoo when one day five armed men rode up to their farmhouse and demanded that Byram move his family to Nauvoo. Betsy was stirring soap in a large iron kettle in the yard. She took the stick she was using and shook it at the leader and said, " We will not leave here until my soap is done." The men laughed among themselves and the captain and his men rode away. The next morning Byram was standing in the yard when a bullet whizzed over his head. They left as soon as possible for Nauvoo.
